Faux Bolts, Realistic Heavy-Duty Barnwood Bolts, Decorative Only, Not Structural, Heavy-Duty Industrial Look - Mimics Century-Old Bolts, Used in decorative concrete masonry form projects
Museum-Quality Realism — Large 1" diameter faux bolts with 1.5" bolt heads & nuts and 2" washer diameters. These oversized cosmetic bolts instantly transform your barnwood replication into rugged, aged, authentic-looking timber that looks like it’s been holding up a barn for 100 years.
Perfect Dimensions for Professional Results — Bolt heads and nuts stand a full 1" tall. Complete bolt & nut assemblies measure 1.5" tall. The generous 2" washers give that heavy, industrial feel — exactly what you need for crawling beams and beam seams.
Easy & Genius Installation — Paint a piece of ½” MDF or particle board black to simulate heavy flat strap metal. Place the faux bolts precisely at the seams, then drive appropriate deck screws through the center of each bolt. Bury the screw head about ¼” below the surface.
Self-Healing Magic — Our premium hybrid urethane (same ultra-tough material used in our gun targets) instantly closes and hides the screw hole. The obnoxious hole disappears, leaving a perfectly clean, realistic bolt head with zero visible fasteners.
The Final Anchor Detail — These large faux bolts complete the illusion of massive, hand-forged hardware anchoring real timber. When paired with our Barnwood Texture Rollers and Board Knot Stamps, they deliver that “wow — is this real wood?” museum-quality finish every time.
Exclusively, designed by SBC founder Bryan Gauthier for This Little House Of Mine — our sister non-profit — with 100% of proceeds supporting children and families in crisis.

Feedback on Mica Flakes – Great Quality, Would Prefer Smaller Size Option
My opinion about the product is that, although it's a high-quality material and meets my expectations in terms of performance, I would really appreciate if there were an option with smaller mica sizes. I previously purchased a product with flakes smaller than 1 inch, and I’d love to know if this particular product could be offered in those smaller sizes as well.
I ordered 4 ounces and they sent a lot more than that. I cannot comment on product yet as I have to wait until summer. I bought it to brighten up my family's headstones as they are fading.
Forms were accurate in the texture I was looking for and high quality in design, flexibility and ease of use. Certainly reusable for multiple projects
